In Acts chapter 17, Paul an Silas continue their journeys, coming to a city named Thessalonica. There, they would plant a fresh church but soon face similar persecutions that they experienced in many other cities. This congregation would be one remembered throughout history, as they were the recipients of two Epistles we find in our Bibles today!
